Thermodynamic Steam Trap

Thermodynamic Steam trap is a simple design with only one moving part. Like the Bucket trap These traps like high constant pressure and perform best under those applications. They rely on flash steam to function. The disk inside the trap opens to allow condensate and non-condensable gases to escape until steam flashes above the disk forcing is closed. These traps have a very distinct ultrasonic signature. They can handle condensate pretty well but are subjected to clogging in a dirty system.
